New tractors are running a higher pressure in the hydraulic system
then a few years ago. Husky has been getting calls to see why the
oil is getting hot or the closed center Hydraulic system is pumping
all the time. Here is whyThe relief valve is set for 25oo psi and the
tractors are putting out 2900 psi. so the oil is going over the
relief valve all the time.
How to fix
Turn in the relief valve all the way. This will still give you
protection from 3300 psi. 1. Loosen the jam nut on the relief
valve.( it is located on the right side of the levers on valve bank.
)2. Use the set screw & turn it all the way in clock wise.
